Longtime musical chameleon Joey Altruda is finally releasing a new volume of his of his cocktail music specialty. Until now, these musical gems have been only available for film and television use, but due to so many fan requests over the years, Mr. Altruda is making these available to the public through the Avocaudio label.

For those not familiar, Altruda has been on the musical scene for several decades as a bandleader, arranger/composer, producer, multi-instrumentalist, DJ, and entrepreneur. Since 1981 he has worked with a wide spectrum of artists including Screamin’ Jay Hawkins, Bo Diddley, Joe Houston, Don & Dewey, Rose Maddox, Levi Dexter, Tom Waits, Joe Strummer, Plas Johnson, Les Baxter, Mongo Santamaria, Seu Jorge, Sir Coxson Dodd, Roland Alphonso, Ernest Rangin, et al. His fan base has always held him in high esteem as an artist who always delivers the highest quality presentation.

This new release is a companion piece to his 1995 release “Cocktails With Joey”, which was hailed as one of the best recordings of the 90’s retro/lounge lounge revival.
